Rev. James Sarpong-Kumankomah

In 2015, Rev. James Sarpong Kumankomah, affectionately known as Rev.Jay, answered God’s call to full-time ministry by founding Royalhouse Chapel Mt. Zion Center, the Massachusetts Missions of Royalhouse Chapel International.

From his young adult years, Rev.Jay has carried a deep passion for serving God, shepherding His people, and advancing His Kingdom. With an unwavering commitment to the Gospel, he has dedicated his life to preaching the Word, raising disciples, and equipping believers to fulfill their God-given purpose.

The vision for Mt. Zion Center was birthed through a clear prophetic call from the Lord, who directed Rev.Jay to plant a church in Massachusetts. In faithful obedience to that divine assignment, Royalhouse Chapel Mt. Zion Center was established and has since become a place where lives are transformed, faith is strengthened, and people encounter the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Today, under his leadership, the ministry continues to impact lives through passionate worship, sound biblical teaching, fervent prayer, and a steadfast commitment to touching this generation with the power of God.

Teacher and Discipler

Rev. James Sarpong-Kumankomah highly values teaching the foundational truth of the Scriptures with power and authority rooted in the Holy Spirit.

He also proactively delivers Bible-centered messages with clarity, so that all that God has given him is digestible for those he disciples at Mt. Zion while maintaining a non-compromising approach to Biblical doctrine for all who hear.

His pastoral vision emphasizes healing, miracles, spiritual growth, and transformational living.

Lifelong Scholar

Rev. Jay holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Organization Development and has completed extensive training in pastoral ministry. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies, demonstrating his commitment to both spiritual and academic excellence.

Prior to leading in ministry, Rev. James worked as an organization development consultant and also gained experience in the travel and healthcare sectors.

Husband and Father

Together with his wife and ministry partner, Pastor Paulina, they lead the congregation with humility and compassion. Rev. James and Pastor Paulina currently reside in the Greater Boston area with their three children—Israel, Alice, and James Jr.
